If you want to replace the carpet in your office, the costs can escalate quickly. You’ll probably be planning for the cost of removing the furniture, storing the furniture, electricians’ fees, and the downtime when your staff can’t work. With all that to pay for, a new floor might seem unachievable. But with our Furniture Lift service, you can have a brand-new floor for a lot less.
What is Furniture Lift?
Furniture Lift gives you a brand-new floor, with minimal disruption. You don’t even need to unplug anything. Your staff will leave the office at the end of the day and when they come back the next morning, the only thing they should notice is the lovely new flooring. Everything else should be just as they left it.
We vertically lift your furniture, no more than 5mm off the floor, to enable us to remove existing carpet tiles. Then we replace them with new ones and lower your furniture back into position. There is no need to disconnect any power or IT and we always survey the space and advise clients on the furniture.
How does it work?
We’ll come and take a look at the area, make detailed notes of the furniture you have, and then provide a programme for each section or level. This outlines how long it will take us to complete the work and how many visits in total we’ll need to make.
On average, we can remove and install 250 metres of carpet tile per shift, with a shift being around 6pm to 6am.
Why Loughton Contracts?
As the leading flooring contractor in the UK, we’ve completed a number of large-scale flooring projects using Furniture Lift, such as Citi, Barclays, McGraw Hill, Clifford Chance and Morgan Stanley.
Our experience and planning makes our Furniture Lift service an obvious choice to achieve the look you want. We even clean the desks and hoover the area before people arrive for work. Although most of the flooring we lay with Furniture Lift is carpet, we have accounts with all the leading flooring manufacturers.
