The Brief
Design & Build specialists Maris, designed a collaborative and flexible new office space for Lowell Financial. Our team supplied and installed the floor finishes throughout this forward thinking workspace in the centre of Leeds.
The main reception area featured a timber effect LVT plank by Interface. The Oak LVT matched perfectly with the timber joinery panels and the neutral tones used for the reception décor. Within the LVT our team installed an inset carpet to subtly denote seating areas, keeping with the colour theme of the main flooring.
The first floor of Lowell Financials new office space featured more vinyl flooring. This LVT plank, by Interface, was installed on a 45 degree angle across the floor plate and was installed neatly to meet the joinery seating. Two additional areas featured an Interface LVT in an antique timber finish; one an antique Oak and the other in antique Maple. Aluminium trims, from C.A.T. Accessories, were installed to allow a level transition between the LVT and inset carpet tiles.
An array of carpet tiles were supplied and installed to the first floor open plan work area. This floor featured carpet tiles from Interface, Modulyss and Desso to create some striking transitions and insets. A plain patterned carpet tile was utilised to define walkways through the office space, with patterned carpet tiles creating individual breakout areas.
Specialist sports flooring was supplied and installed by our team to the clients gym. The main entrance of the building was completed with the installation of new entrance matting by Milliken. This was a demanding project, with a tight programme. The team had to overcome several logistical challenges with this project being located in the north of the country but we managed to complete in line with the clients programme.
