The Brief

Supply and install floor finishes to a new office space near St Marys Axe, London, EC3A.

Our team supplied and installed a mix of carpet tiles and LVT to this new office space for Six Group, situated in London. Working closely with D&B specialists Oktra, our Canary Wharf team installed contrasting Interface carpet tiles to the open plan office, creating a subtle walkway through the space. The use of neutral tones gave a calming feel.

Breakout areas, that match the unusual shape of the building, featured splashes of colours to the walls and ceilings. The flooring mirrored the feature ceiling which was curved to reflect the unusual architecture.

We utilised an Interface LVT from their “Level Set Collection“, into the tea point area. This featured the same product thickness as the carpet tiles which ensured a smooth, level transition, complimented by black floor trims from C.A.T Flooring Accessories “S Range”. The LVT offered a durable finish with an easy to follow maintenance regime, ideal for this type of area.

A mix of Interface LVT and Carpet tile was installed in the breakout area to create a feature floor to mirror the curved ceiling detail and bespoke joinery. Again a black floor trim was installed, providing a flush transition between floor finishes, and also ensuring our install team could produce a perfect curve detail.
